“Respect traditional knowledge and promote community-led conservation”, say West African groups on International Day of Forests
From 18 to 21 March 2019, 32 representatives of local community groups, women’s groups and NGOs gathered for a West African skillshare on gender-sensitive community-based forest conservation and restoration initiatives, and a strategy meeting on bioenergy developments.
