During the 27th meeting of the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA 27), held in Panama City, from October 20-24, members of the CBD Alliance and other CBD constituencies made an action to demand parties more action to fight forest fires and destruction, and defend the lives of environmental defenders, IP&LCs, women, youth and wildlife impacted by forest fires.
