GFC Annual Report 2008

Chair intro (by Miguel Lovera): The year 2008 will be remembered as a year of crisis. It was marked by the global economic crisis, which touched upon all of us in one way or another, even though it was created by a small elite in a few of the world’s richest countries. It was also a year of increasing concern about the gathering climate crisis, which also touches upon all of us – and was also created by a small elite in just a few of the world’s countries.
