The Paraguay National Workshop of the Community Conservation Resilience Assessment Initiative will take place in Asunción, on August 7 and 8, at the Santa Inés House, Paraguarí 845. Some 20 participants from the communities involved in the initiative will attend. Also, several representatives of various official entities were invited. The occasion is excellent for an exchange of views and knowledge on what and how communities pretend to continue their livelihood models within their habitats and what kind of intervention from outside they need in order to resist and overcome the exogenous threats and pressures and that hinder their survival strategies.
