La Coalición Mundial por los Bosques (GFC) busca los servicios de un Consultor de Recaudación de Fondos para rediseñar nuestra estrategia de recaudación de fondos. Esto incluye el mantenimiento de nuestras actuales iniciativas de recaudación de fondos y la creación de un plan en consonancia con la estrategia general de la organización y el presupuesto aprobado.

Scope of Work

The fundraising consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Develop a fundraising strategy that aligns with the GFC’s overall goals and objectives, after conducting a needs assessment to identify the GFC’s fundraising priorities and challenges.

2. Writing at least two concrete proposals for core funding for at least 400,000 EUR in total.

3. Compile a database of international, national, and local donor organisations/foundations/agencies that are a good fit with GFC’s priorities and missions.

4. Report on fundraising progress and results to GFC..

5. Provide independent advice and support in developing strategic and operational plans for the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

 Desired Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. At least five years of relevant experience in fundraising and grants acquisition.

2. Proven record of successfully managing similar consultancies with NGOs/INGOs.

3. Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders including community based organisations, local NGOs, donors, and a diverse team of colleagues.

4. Self-motivated and organised, and able to work independently

5. Strong writing and communication skills.

6. Excellent relationship-building skills.

7. Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising software would be a plus.

• Expression of Interest, including an estimate of days required for the deliverables.

• Detailed resume with relevant work experience [For Companies/Agencies, please include your registration certificates and other relevant documents]

• Outline of your technical proposal for GFC’s fundraising strategy.

The fundraising consultant will be engaged on a contract basis for EUR 5000. Upon shortlisting of potential consultant’s/consulting agencies, interviews will be held to further assess the candidate’s eligibility.
