Desarraigar los impulsores de la deforestación y el cambio climático: visiones de primera línea y vías de transformación

Biofuelwatch, el Colectivo VientoSur, FASE y la Coalición Mundial por los Bosques están organizando una charla virtual con activistas de comunidades de primera línea que discutirán y desafiarán algunas de las falsas soluciones que se están proponiendo y promoviendo en la COP26. El debate abordará por qué estas falsas soluciones empeoran la crisis climática, y destacará las injusticias a las que se enfrentan las comunidades de primera línea como consecuencia de las industrias extractivas, el patriarcado, el colonialismo y el capitalismo verde.

Biofuelwatch, Colectivo VientoSur, FASE and Global Forest Coalition are hosting an online panel discussion with activists from frontline communities that will first discuss and challenge some of the false solutions being proposed and promoted at COP26. The discussion will address why these false solutions make the climate crisis worse, and it will highlight the injustices that frontline communities are facing as a consequence of extractive industries, patriarchy, colonialism and green capitalism.
