CCRI National Workshop – Panama
The CCRI National workshop will take place in the village of Usdub, Gunayala, Panamá, on July 23 and 24. It is organized by the FPCI (Foundation for the Promotion of Indigenous Knowledge) in collaboration with the Global Forest Coalition. The gathering will address the following issues, vital for the subsistence of the communities:
– Situation in the communities, their resources and knowledge, problems and shortcomings.
– Threats to community livelihoods and integrity of communities habitats and ecosystem.
– Proposals for continued survival of the communities based on their culture and biodiversity.

Members of the Mberá and the Kuna Peoples will participate in the workshop.
